1980’s Fashion Icons: Run DMC

Jason ”Jam Master Jay” Mizell, Joseph ”Run” Simmons and Darryl ”D.M.C” McDaniels Daniels says the initials have two meanings: “Devastating Mic Control” and “D for never dirty, MC for mostly clean.”

Here you see Run DMC rocking the original Adidas tracksuits with big gold chains to go with the Retro style which was a major influence in Hip Hop fashion in the 1980s.
